FilingsHQ is a private document filing service. We prepare and submit business filings based on the information you provide. We are not a government agency, we are not a law firm, and nothing on this site is legal, tax, or accounting advice.
1. What FilingsHQ is — and is not
FilingsHQ is a brand operated by EZFile, LLC, a privately owned filing-preparation service. References to “FilingsHQ,” “we,” or “us” in these terms mean EZFile, LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any federal, state, or local government agency. Every filing we prepare can also be filed directly with the relevant government agency by you, typically for only the government’s own fee. We charge for preparation, review, submission, and status tracking — the convenience and care, not access.
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Communications with FilingsHQ are not protected by attorney-client privilege. For advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney or tax professional.
2. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. We prepare filings from your answers; government agencies make all final decisions, including on name availability and filing acceptance. You confirm you are authorized to order filings for the business named in your order.
3. Pricing, state fees, and renewals
- All FilingsHQ service fees and applicable government fees are itemized before you pay. Government fees are set by the relevant agency, passed through at cost, and may change without notice.
- Some services renew automatically at the price shown at purchase (for example, annual packages, registered agent service, and advanced compliance). Renewal terms are displayed before you select any renewing service.
- You can cancel a renewing service at any time before its renewal date by emailing help@filingshq.com. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund past periods.
4. Refunds and our guarantee
- Money-back guarantee: if you’re not satisfied, contact us within 60 days of purchase for a refund of FilingsHQ service fees for services not yet performed.
- Government fees: once a fee has been paid to a government agency on your behalf, it is controlled by that agency and is generally non-refundable by us.
- Error correction: if a filing is rejected because of an error in our preparation, we will correct and resubmit it at no additional service charge.
5. Service timelines
FilingsHQ processing estimates cover our preparation and submission work. Government processing times are set by each agency, vary, and are outside our control. Estimates on this site are not guarantees.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use FilingsHQ to submit false information to a government agency, to impersonate another person or business, or for any unlawful purpose. We may decline or cancel orders that appear fraudulent or unlawful, with a refund of unearned service fees.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilingsHQ’s total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us in service fees for the order at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made by government agencies.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the effective date above reflects the latest version. Material changes to renewing services will be communicated before your next renewal. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
