FilingsHQ collects only the information needed to prepare and submit your business filings and to operate our website. We never sell your personal information. Payment card details go directly to our payment processor (Stripe) and never touch our servers.
Who we are
FilingsHQ is a brand operated by EZFile, LLC (“we,” “us”). FilingsHQ is a private document filing service. We are not a government agency and not a law firm. This policy describes how we handle information collected through filingshq.com.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, business name, filing state, and the details you enter in our filing questionnaires.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and the last details needed for receipts — never your full card number.
- Usage information: pages visited, actions taken on the site, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and the analytics tools below.
How we use it
- To prepare, review, and submit the filings you order, and to send status updates and receipts.
- To provide customer support.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (analytics, including session replay with typed input masked).
- To measure advertising performance. If you arrive from an ad and make a purchase, we share a hashed (unreadable) version of your email with Google and Microsoft to confirm the conversion. This is standard “enhanced conversions” measurement — it does not give advertisers your readable email address.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the business, under their own privacy commitments: Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics), Google and Microsoft (advertising measurement), and our hosting providers. We share filing details with the relevant state agency as required to complete your order. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies and choices
We use cookies for analytics and ad measurement. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. To opt out of interest-based advertising generally, visit optout.aboutads.info.
Retention and security
We keep order records as long as needed to service your filings and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to team members who need it.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep for completed filings). Email help@filingshq.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. California and other state residents may have additional rights under applicable law, which we honor on request.
Children
Our services are for business owners and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
